Add Calendar Resource information to your Google Calendar Google Apps offers the ability to Google Apps Admins to create Calendar Resources (meeting rooms, beamers). Those Calendar resources can be booked via Google Calendar. When an user creates a new Appointment he can invite the Resource to the meeting as well. The owner of the resource is able to specify how the invitations are accepted (automatically or moderated). See also Google Help on instructions how to schedule resources via Google calendar. The G-workplace Calendar Facility is a Google Site which provides Facility Department with a content management area to publish additional information about the Calendar Resources. They can i.e. easily specify the number of seats, the facilities in a meeting room (table, TV, beamer, whiteboard, etc.). Google Calendar makes it easy for you to share your available company resources with your co-workers. This Google Site provides extra information to the person who books the resource. For a meeting room the capacity, location in the building and available assets in the room are shown including a picture of the meeting room to see the ambiance of the room.
